Seabourn Quest
About Seabourn Quest
Seabourn Quest is a sleek, elegant vessel that has been in service since 2011. Unlike other expedition vessels, Seabourn Quest offers all the amenities that you would expect to find aboard a cruise ship, but she was designed for sailing more than just flat-calm waters. A voyage aboard Seabourn Quest will take you on an expedition sailing to Antarctica, with departures from Argentina and Chile.
Seabourn Quest’s expeditions in Antarctica and Patagonia offer daily Zodiac landings in selected locations – depending on sea and weather conditions – allowing you to get up close to some of the region’s most incredible wildlife. You might even find yourself stood atop an iceberg. Guidance and insight comes throughout the sailing from skilled expedition staff that are highly knowledgeable in the area and they will join you onboard and ashore.
Digital photography workshops are also offered, which will allow you to capture memorable moments ashore, and an Enrichment Programme will see expert guest speakers deliver lectures onboard regarding some of the most important aspects of Antarctica.
Onboard, Seabourn Quest offers ocean-view suites for up to 450-guests, making her one of the largest expedition vessels that we offer. Although large by expedition ship standards, this does not take away from the intimate atmosphere that can be found onboard.
Ninety-percent of her staterooms offer private verandas and there are 5 Owner’s Suites available. All suites and staterooms onboard feature flat-screen TV’s, Egyptian cotton sheets, Molton Brown products and fine soaps from Hermes. Collectively there are 14 accommodation grades.
Dining aboard Seabourn Quest is always an exciting culinary experience. The Restaurant is her main dining room and here guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on an open-seating basis – this allows you to dine when – and with – whomever you please. Also onboard are the Colonnade on Deck 8, Restaurant 2, The Patio Grill and 24-hour room service is also available.
Some of the noted public areas aboard Seabourn Quest include the Retreat, a multi-use area with 2 shuffleboard courts and a 9-hole contoured putting green. The Observation Bar, which offers stunning panoramic views. The Spa at Seabourn – the largest spa facility on any luxury cruise ship, with six treatment rooms, a thermal area, sauna and steam rooms, salon and a Thai massage area.
Seabourn Quest also offers a Pool Patio with swimming pools and whirlpool spas, Patio Bar, several boutiques, Card Room, Grand Salon (the ships main showroom offering expert lectures, cooking demonstrations and movies), casino and self-service launderettes.
