Welcome to Delhi! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, holding a sign with your name, and transferred to your hotel.
Explore the grand India Gate monument, stroll through the lively markets of Connaught Place, or visit nearby landmarks like Rashtrapati Bhavan and Humayun’s Tomb. Delhi offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and vibrant energy, all at your leisure.
Day 3 - Delhi, India to Thimphu, Bhutan

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure to Bhutan.
Upon arrival in Bhutan, you will be warmly greeted at the airport to begin your journey. On the way to Thimphu, stop at Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, a 15th-century iron suspension bridge adorned with colourful prayer flags. Built by the famous Nyingma tantric master Tangtong Gyalpo, it offers a unique glimpse into Bhutanese history and traditional bridge construction. Continue the scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital, where tradition meets modernity. Once in Thimphu, visit Tashichho Dzong, a beautiful fortress-monastery that serves as the administrative and religious centre of Bhutan. After your sightseeing, check in to your hotel for a restful night. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 4 - Thimphu

Explore Thimphu’s cultural and spiritual landmarks, starting with the towering Buddha Dordenma, offering panoramic valley views. Visit the Memorial Chorten, where locals offer prayers, and the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students master Bhutan’s traditional arts. Discover rural heritage at the Folk Heritage Museum, showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. Conclude at Changangkha Lhakhang, a historic temple where parents seek blessings for newborns, while enjoying breathtaking views of the city below.
Day 5 - Thimphu to Punakha

Start the day at the Bhutan Postal Museum, exploring the country’s postal heritage and creating personalized stamps as souvenirs. Then, journey to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m), where, on a clear day, breathtaking Himalayan views await. Drive through charming villages and terraced fields, offering insights into rural Bhutanese life. Along the way, visit the Royal Botanical Park at Lamperi, home to diverse flora and stunning landscapes, making for a serene and picturesque stop.
Optional: Prayer flags hoisting at Dochula Pass, a practice that symbolizes the offering of blessings and good wishes to the heavens.
Day 6 - Punakha

Discover Punakha’s rich heritage, starting at the majestic Punakha Dzong, an architectural marvel at the confluence of two rivers. Built in 1637, it remains a key religious and administrative center. Stroll through the countryside to Chimi Lhakhang, the famed Fertility Temple, known for its blessings. In the afternoon, hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a stunning hilltop monastery. The trail winds through rice fields and pine forests, culminating in breathtaking valley views and exquisite Bhutanese craftsmanship.
Day 7 - Punakha to Gangtey

After an early breakfast, drive to the scenic Phobjikha Valley, crossing the Lawala Pass and descending into this glacial valley, famous for its wintering black-necked cranes. Visit Gangtey Monastery for stunning valley views and insights into Bhutanese Buddhism. Next, enjoy the 45-minute Gangtey Nature Trail, a peaceful walk through forests and meadows, with opportunities to observe local wildlife and take in the valley’s beauty. In the afternoon, return to Punakha, reflecting on the serene landscapes and natural wonders.
Day 8 - Gangtey

Immerse yourself in Gangtey’s beauty and culture, starting with a village walk to explore local life, traditional farming, and the deep connection between the community and nature. Visit the Black Necked Crane Information Centre to learn about conservation efforts for these endangered birds and the valley’s ecological importance. In the afternoon, visit local communities, witnessing their traditional crafts, from textiles to woodwork. This unique experience offers a chance to meet the people preserving Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and even try some crafts yourself.
Day 9 - Gangtey to Bumthang

Today, embark on a scenic drive to Bumthang, known for its stunning landscapes and rich culture. First, visit Chendebji Chorten, a peaceful 18th-century stupa, before continuing through the village of Trongsa and its impressive dzong. Stop at the Royal Heritage Museum for insights into Bhutan’s royal history. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Willing Falls, then resume the drive towards Bumthang, arriving in the evening. Unwind at your hotel and prepare for another day of exploration.
Optional Hot Stone Bath: You can experience a traditional Hot Stone Bath with advance booking. Hot stone bath is purely a Bhutanese traditional method of curing skin ailments, joint pains, hypertension, stomach disorders, arthritis, and many other minor diseases. After a strenuous hike, you’ll feel completely relaxed from the soothing hot stone bath.
Day 10 - Bumthang

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Bumthang’s revered temples: Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, and Tamshing Lhakhang, rich in history and spirituality. Visit a traditional farmhouse for a hands-on cooking class to prepare Ema Datshi, Bhutan’s signature dish, and enjoy the meal for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Dorjibi Weaving Centre to observe traditional weaving techniques and learn about the cultural significance of textiles in Bhutan, with the opportunity to purchase beautiful handwoven goods as souvenirs.
Day 11 - Bumthang (Excursion to Tang Valley)

Embark on a scenic excursion to Tang Valley, known for its stunning landscapes. Visit the sacred Burning Lake, where Guru Rinpoche’s disciple, Pema Lingpa, discovered a hidden treasure. Explore the Pema Choling Nunnery, gaining insight into Bhutanese monastic life and spirituality. Then, tour the Ogyen Cholling Palace Museum to learn about the history and heritage of the Tang Valley. Enjoy a farm-to-table lunch at Ogyen Cholling before returning to Bumthang for the night.
Day 12 - Bumthang to Paro

Take a short drive to Jakar for a flight to Paro, known for its stunning landscapes and cultural landmarks. Begin with a visit to the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the historic Ta Dzong, which showcases Bhutanese art, religious artifacts, and cultural history. Next, explore Rinpung Dzong, an iconic fortress-monastery built in 1646, offering impressive architecture, religious significance, and panoramic views of the Paro Valley. Discover its beautiful courtyards, temples, and murals, all reflecting traditional Bhutanese art.
Day 13 - Tiger's Nest

Drive to Satsam Chorten for a 4-hour hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, perched on a cliff 800m above the Paro Valley. This sacred site, where Guru Padma Sambhava meditated in the 8th century, offers breathtaking views. For those interested, an additional hour of hiking leads to the monastery itself. In the afternoon, enjoy a fun cultural experience by trying Bhutan's national sport, archery. Then, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, before enjoying a cozy dinner with a local family.
Day 14 - Paro, Bhutan to Delhi, India

After breakfast, take a private transfer from your hotel to Paro International Airport for your flight to India. Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the city, where you can enjoy your final day at leisure.
Day 15 - Return flight to London
