Voyage Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival at Quito
Fly from London to the vibrant city of Quito, where a private transfer takes you to the 5-star Casa Gangotena Hotel in the heart of the city. Settle into luxury, then spend the rest of the day at your own pace to wander through colonial streets, soak in panoramic views, or simply unwind in the comfort of your exquisite hotel.
Day 2 - Wild Cotopaxi
In the morning, embark on a full-day adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Cotopaxi. Marvel at one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, explore a historic hacienda dating back six centuries, and indulge in a unique vodka-tasting experience.
Day 3 - Iconic Quito
Join the private Iconic Quito Tour and discover the Ecuadorian capital’s most renowned landmarks. Stand on the equator at the Mitad del Mundo monument and the Intiñan Museum, where you can step between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Day 5 - Mashpi Biodiversity Reserve
Spend your day at Mashpi Biodiversity Reserve with expert Naturalist Guides, exploring the forest canopy by Sky Bike and Dragonfly, spotting wildlife along scenic trails, and enjoying panoramic views from the Observation Tower. Discover the cloud forest’s rich biodiversity, from colorful birds to unique amphibians.
Day 6 - Mashpi Biodiversity Reserve to Quito
Your day begins with an early bird-watching tour, followed by breakfast at the Lodge. Then, enjoy a short hike before departing Mashpi Lodge and heading back to Quito, with lunch at Santana Brewing Co. on the way.
Day 7 - Quito to Baltra Island, Galapagos
Today, you will take a flight to Baltra Island, where you will embark on a spacious expedition yacht (Isabela II or La Pinta) to begin your unforgettable journey in the Galápagos Islands. You will be led by expert naturalist guide on each exciting excursion as you explore stunning landscapes and Galapagos iconic species.
Day 8 - Fernandina Island
Explore Fernandina Island’s Punta Espinoza, home to diverse wildlife like flightless marine iguanas, cormorants, and penguins, amidst stunning volcanic landscapes and the unique lava cactus.
Day 9 - Isabela Island
Commence your day with a visit to Urbina Bay on the western coast of Isabela Island, exploring the uplifted coastline with vibrant land iguanas and giant tortoises. Then, visit historic Tagus Cove for a scenic hike, snorkelling, and kayaking amidst volcanic landscapes.
Day 10 - Rabida Island, Santa Cruz Island
Start your day at Rabida Island’s red-hued beach, spotting marine iguanas, mockingbirds, yellow warblers, and Darwin’s finches. Then, explore the captivating landscapes of Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz Island, home to the iconic land iguanas and stunning panoramic views.
Day 11 - Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island
Your adventure continues with a visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, and enjoy a delightful lunch on the island. After lunch, explore the lush highlands of Santa Cruz Island, home to Darwin’s Finches and unique Scalesia trees. Encounter giant tortoises in their natural habitat and visit a tortoise reserve for a closer look at these gentle giants.
Day 12 - Floreana Island
Embark on a scenic panga ride around Floreana Island, visit historic Post Office Bay, snorkel, kayak, and explore Punta Cormorant's olivine beach, brackish lagoon, and turtle nesting sites.
Day 13 - Baltra Island, Galapagos to Quito
Disembark from Isabela II / La Pinta on Baltra Island, then take the domestic flight back to Quito to enjoy your final night in the city.
Day 14 - Return Flight from Quito to London
Enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your flight back to London.
