Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Sightseeing in Reykjavík
No Meals Included

Take a flight from London to Reykjavík. Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. There will be an information meeting at your accommodation at night. You will meet your guide, travel companions, and learn more about the tour.

After settling in, take some time to explore this charming city known for its colourful houses, artistic vibe, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sea. Take a stroll through this lively city centre, perhaps exploring the shops and galleries along the main street, Laugavegur, or relaxing with a cup of coffee in a cosy café. If you arrive early, you might consider adding a day tour or a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon for a soothing soak in its warm, mineral-rich waters, as a perfect way to unwind and begin your adventure.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure. Reykjavík offers a multitude of restaurants and/or coffee-houses, making dinner a wonderful way to get better acquainted with Iceland’s capital.

Day 2 - The Famous Golden Circle and The South Coast

Begin your adventure with a visit to Aurora Reykjavík Northern Lights Centre, where you will uncover the science and folklore of the auroras and learn photography tips. Then, journey along the Golden Circle to marvel at Gullfoss waterfall, stunning in its winter splendour, and the geothermal wonders of Geysir, where Strokkur erupts dramatically every few minutes.

Continue along Iceland’s south coast to explore the iconic Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls before reaching the striking black sand beaches near the village of Vík. In the evening, if conditions permit, join your guide for a northern lights hunt, experiencing the magic of the auroras in the tranquil Icelandic countryside.

Day 3 - Beauty of Icebergs and Black Sand

Explore the southern wonders of Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe’s largest glacier. Day 4 - Adventure to Rugged Eastfjords

Day 5 - Highland Desert and Lake Mývatn

Discover the haunting beauty of Modrudalsoraefi’s snow-covered highland desert before visiting Dettifoss, Europe’s largest and most powerful waterfall. Day 6 - The Waterfall Of the Gods

Explore Akureyri, Iceland’s charming northern capital, and enjoy stunning coastal drives along Eyjafjörður and the Troll Peninsula. Stop in Siglufjörður to visit the award-winning Herring-Era Museum, then continue to Skagafjörður, famed for horse breeding.

Day 7 - Meeting with Icelandic Horse

Begin your day with an introduction to Icelandic horses, famed for their unique fifth gait, the tölt.
